This is a prime example of reaching back to go forward… This Free People frock is adorable in all ways in sight of the fact that it semi resembles a colonial nightgown with the button detail and the billowing sleeves. Basically you are able to sport your PJ's out and about.

Neck Lachey
If your looking for the perfect summer necklace, heres a good start. All you'll need is some colorful string, paracord, a hot glue gun, and scissors. Simply wrap the paracord with your thread of choice, hot glue the beginning and end of each color section for a clean and finished look. To end the necklace wrap the end of one side with a color and connect it to the other side and continue to wrap the other side until it is secure.
Eye for an Eye
Whoever thought that two eyes were better then four needed to check themselves. As annoying as it is to shop for that perfect pair, find the shape, color, and appropriate nose bridge, in the end it's worth it. Over the years I have sported a slew of spectacles, from the narrow scott summers style to the round tortoise frame above. I love swapping my specs and catering them to my current look.

Joe Shmoe
Joe's Jeans has the coolest patterns around! Every pair has the brightest colors and boldest motifs that take your ordinary jean to a whole new level. At first glance, I fell in love with these purple kaleidoscope printed pants--- never have I ever seen a pair quite like them...

Two Timing
You know how you say you will re wear your prom dress or that bridesmaids dress, yet never really do? Lately I have found myself re wearing the skirt I sported to my prom. I purchased it because of how versatile it would be as a summer statement piece, it's as simple as adding a pair of Sam Edelmans to my prom skirt with a tank or a tee to create a flowy casual day time look.

Jingle Jangle Bingle Bangle
One of the best gifts I have ever received was this Hermes bracelet. Even though it is an expensive piece, there is rarely a day that goes by where it is not sitting on my wrist. I am a sucker for their classic orange, it adds that pop of color to your duds. Just be aware that people may assume your name begins with an H.
Garden Party
For a fathers day gift there was no better place to go than Terrain. Even if my dreams of making my dad a hanging-wall garden of succulents was crushed, I still got a waffle and some crazy good pistachio ice cream out of the trip. Not to mention I got my dad a garden in a box to ornament his bathroom with.

Raspberry Delight
There are two places that I never fail to find serenity--- standing in front of my refrigerator and standing in my closet figuring out what to wear. I’m a bored eater, so the fridge - with picking at fruit, leftovers, or lemon mint sorbet - provides a certain comfort that few other spots can produce. My closet yields that same satiating sensation. For a no stress outfit, I threw on a black Zara mini and a Topshop jean shirt as I ventured to the Shake Shack in Philly for a dinner with "the ladies". For anyone who is in the area, I highly recommended making your way into the city for a yummy burger and some crinkle-cut fries.

Manning Up
As a kid I often ventured into my moms closet to play
dress up, but as I have grown older I have started to investigate the menswear
pieces I can swipe from my father’s closet as well.
My sister and I recently gallivanted through his closet in search for
retro jean jackets we could make into vests and crisp oversized white button
downs to pair with skinny jeans. Lucky for us our father came through and hooked us up with his old duds!

One Direction
Have you ever been woken up and told you have 15 minutes to get ready. If you haven't had to do this or you have not watched the girls on America's Next Top Model do it, then I suggest you time yourself and see what you can pull together in 15 minutes. This past Sunday morning I was thrust into that same situation. I was zonked and disoriented as I opened up my closet. I saw pink jeans and decided that was the starting point. From there I threw on a a light grey mullet top and a tan blazer. In a hurry I decorated my wrists with some blue bangles and an orange hermes bracelet. As I raced past the mirror I realized that the color pallet I was working with was in need of some spice. I decided that neon green sandals with the perfect solution.

Getting Tacky
For this DIY I went straight for the ears. It all started when I was shopping for school supplies. Sidenote, this is one of my favorite things to do. For some reason buying new notebooks, pencils, and pens soothes my soul. Anyway I HAD to have these tacks but what was I gonna use them for? So I decided to cut on the backs with pliers and hot glue them to an earring back. Boom new earrings for the summer time.

Skirtin Around
Sorry for the delayed post... the workmen at my house cut the cable cord for the third time yesterday. Anyway, this was senior prom 2012. It all started with the hunt for a green dress. That crashed and burned. So I went onto pinterest, like any girl in need of inspiration, and decided to flip the script and wear a skirt and a top.
